Our Activities

In collaboration with REAP and Musha Health Center, our "Get Tested, Stay Healthy" initiative has taken root in Rwamagana district's Musha sector. This program is a crucial response to the pressing issue of HIV/AIDS awareness and offers free HIV testing to key populations at high risk of infection. Our main goal is to dispel misconceptions that surround HIV, breaking down the barriers of fear and stigma that often deter individuals from getting tested and taking proactive steps to maintain their health. By providing accessible testing and comprehensive awareness campaigns, we aim to empower individuals to confront their fears, challenge stigma, and understand the significance of knowing their HIV status. This initiative not only prioritizes individual well-being but also seeks to create a more informed and compassionate community, reducing overall HIV transmission. With the dedicated efforts of REAP, Musha Health Center, and our partners, we are paving the way for a future where HIV is no longer a source of fear or discrimination, fostering a community where everyone feels empowered to get tested, stay healthy, and play a crucial role in curbing HIV transmission.

In a commendable effort, we recently organized a highly successful cervical cancer awareness campaign in Ngoma District, specifically at Apapece Les Gazelles Primary School. The central mission of this endeavor was to enlighten our community about the insidious nature of cervical cancer and underscore the critical significance of both vaccination and regular screenings as indispensable tools in protecting the health of future generations. This outreach initiative acted as an enlightening beacon of information, raising awareness about the often-overlooked threat of cervical cancer. By providing comprehensive insights, we sought to empower individuals with the knowledge that early detection through regular screenings and the administration of vaccines can effectively combat this formidable disease. Our ultimate goal is to secure a healthier, cancer-free future for our cherished community and the generations yet to come. Our unwavering commitment to this cause reflects our dedication to the well-being and prosperity of our community.

"Informed Future Generations" joined the world in celebrating the International Day of Peace at the Rwanda Parliament, where the theme, "Strengthening Unity and Resilience for Sustainable Peace and Development," took center stage. This event brought together diverse individuals, organizations, and leaders to emphasize the universal longing for peace and unity, transcending borders. The celebration underscored the vital role of unity and resilience in achieving lasting peace and sustainable development. Unity is the foundation of peaceful societies, and resilience empowers communities to overcome challenges and conflicts, emerging stronger. By fortifying unity and nurturing resilience, we can create a future where peace and prosperity thrive. The Rwanda Parliament event served as a powerful reminder of humanity's ability to transcend adversity, inspiring us all to work towards a world where peace and development coexist harmoniously.

In line with our mission, we've signed a memorandum of understanding with Shine Rwanda, focusing on mental health and sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) collaborations. We believe that informed decision-makers regarding SRHR and mental health can prevent and swiftly resolve family conflicts. This partnership represents a pivotal step towards creating a healthier community, leveraging our collective expertise to promote knowledge and equitable access to essential services. Together, we aim to positively impact countless lives, paving the way for stronger, more resilient families and communities. Our vision is one of informed, empowered individuals navigating SRHR and mental health with confidence.
